Cute short story, looking forward to reading the second and see if/how they they all interconnect.
Book Jacket Summary:
Paris. City of love, city of romance. The last place you want to go to on a work trip when you're in the middle of an epic dry spell. But that's where Poppy is headed, along with her colleague Charlie, who's shallow and annoying but very, very good-looking. During a white-wine-fuelled session with her friend Alice, Poppy concocts the perfect plan: work by day, and have some no-strings fun with Charlie by night. Of course, it might prove a little more complicated than that, but it's nothing Poppy can't handle - or is it?
I read constantly and have a huge collection. This is my way of keeping track of what I have read. It is also a way to reach out and open up discussion on what others thought of the same book. I tend to have trouble finding new authors or hearing about good reads, so would always love your input or suggestions.

Here's Looking at You by Mhairi Farlane
**** 4 stars
I absolutely loved "You had me at Hello" and found this follow-up book great as well. I think many of us look back on our high school years and feel lucky to have them behind us, which makes this book so relate able. I really loved the characters, felt so real. I am looking forward to her next release in November of "It's not me, it's you", I've already per-ordered on my kindle :)
Book Jacket Summary:
Anna Alessi – history expert, possessor of a lot of hair and an occasionally filthy mouth – seeks nice man for intelligent conversation and Mills & Boon moments.
Despite the oddballs that keep turning up on her dates, Anna couldn’t be happier. As a 30-something with a job she loves, life has turned out better than she dared dream. However, things weren’t always this way, and her years spent as the ‘Italian Galleon’ of an East London comprehensive are ones she’d rather forget.
So when James Fraser – the architect of Anna’s final humiliation at school – walks back into her life, her world is turned upside down. But James seems a changed man. Polite. Mature. Funny, even. People can change, right? So why does Anna feel like she’s a fool to trust him?

The Wedding Propsal By Sue Moorcroft
*****5 stars
Love Love Loved this book. Totally fell in love with this book and was sorry to see it end. You obviously get a sense of what direction the author is going, but with that being said enjoyed each moment of knowing. I haven't read but one other Sue Moorcroft book and now see the error of my ways. If you love to fall in love or be a spectator, you will enjoy each page of this book...I may have to read again, which you don't see me say often :P
Book Jacket Summary:
Can a runaway bride stop running?
Elle Jamieson is an unusually private person, in relationships as well as at work – and for good reason. But when she’s made redundant, with no ties to hold her, Elle heads off to a new life in sunny Malta.
Lucas Rose hates secrets – he prides himself on his ability to lay his cards on the table and he expects nothing less from others. He’s furious when his summer working as a divemaster is interrupted by the arrival of Elle, his ex, all thanks to his Uncle Simon’s misguided attempts at matchmaking.
Forced to live in close proximity, it’s hard to ignore what they had shared before Lucas’s wedding proposal ended everything they had. But then an unexpected phone call from England allows Lucas a rare glimpse of the true Elle. Can he deal with Elle’s hidden past when it finally comes to light?
