I love all of Harriet Evans books and was sure to download this one when it became available. This was very much unlike her normal books. There was alot of depth to it and it dealt with a very tragic disease of alcoholism and the way it affects a family and their lives. There were some drawn out points but overall it was a good book. A solid read just not the norm for Harriet Evans.
