Getting over Mr. Right by Chrissie Manby

****4 stars
I took the chance with a new author, I haven't read. WOW! This book you'll either like or hate. I really enjoyed it. It is about the stigma that comes with a breakup that is one sided. It is about the stages of denial all the way to stalking. I found it very intriguing. It was like an accident, you are cringing at parts in it, but just have to read on. It is amazing the actions the character Ashleigh goes to trying to get her ex back. There were points where you want smack her to just have her realize what a mess she is making, or you are thinking how utterly incomprehensible her actions are, but deep down you know that you have the same curiosities that she has, you just never acted up on them...or at least we hope you haven't :) I think you will definitely find this an interesting read and something different from the normal chick lit.

Book Jacket:
Have you ever had your heart broken?
How did you get over it?
Did a tub of ice cream cheer you up?
Did you delete his number and start again?
Are you now friends with you ex?
Perhaps you're godmother to his children?
***In which case, you're a weirdo and this book is not for you***
But if you reacted with denial, begging or a spot of casual witchcraft, then you've come to the right place. This is Ashleigh's journey from love to lunacy and back again...
